Tennessee State Parks: Cedars of Lebanon

Today we visited Cedars of Lebanon state park for the first time.
- It took us about 45 minutes to get there. We arrived around 10:30am. Left at 12:30pm.
- The nature center was closed, but they had a tiny park store that was open. They said the nature center will open after Memorial day. They also stamped the boys "passports."
- We hiked the Cedar Forest Trail which was a 2 mile loop starting right next to the park store. It was a great hike with lots of rock formations and crevasses along the way. The baby wanted to walk the whole thing, but about 1/3 into it we put him in the Ergo to save time. He protested but accepted the idea once he had his owl in hand. (I bought him a little Great Horned owl at the gift shop)
- Then we drove to the nature center and Dan and the boys went to quickly check out Jackson cave.
- We will need to go back for sure and spend the whole day.
- They also have riding stables, but the sign said children must be 8 years old to ride.
